This Privacy Policy explains how Cerbeta Yazılım Bilişim ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti. ("Cerbeta", "we", "us", or "our") processes personal data in connection with Cerbeta websites, licensing services, and software applications.

## 1. Information We May Process

Depending on how our websites, licensing services, and software applications are used, we may process:

- name and company information;
- business email address and contact details;
- license and subscription identifiers;
- device or installation identifiers used for software activation;
- license activation and validation timestamps;
- software version and technical diagnostic information;
- IP address and basic server request information;
- support communications.

## 2. Payment Information

Payments for our software applications may be processed by Paddle.

Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for transactions processed through its checkout.

Cerbeta does not receive or store full payment card details processed by Paddle.

Paddle independently processes payment, billing, fraud-prevention, tax, invoice, and transaction information in accordance with its own privacy policies.

## 3. Purposes of Processing

We process information where necessary to:

- provide and activate software licenses;
- validate subscription and license status;
- provide customer support;
- maintain security and prevent unauthorized use;
- troubleshoot technical issues;
- comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations;
- improve the reliability and operation of our software applications.

## 4. Operational and Industrial Data

Applications deployed within the customer's own environment may process operational data locally. For industrial applications, this may include machine, PLC, tag, or runtime data.

Where data processing takes place locally and no separate hosted service or integration is explicitly enabled, such locally processed operational data is not automatically transferred to Cerbeta solely because the application is installed.

Customers are responsible for determining the lawful basis for processing operational or personal data within their own environment.

## 5. Data Sharing

We may share limited information with service providers where necessary to operate our software applications and services, including:

- payment and billing providers such as Paddle;
- hosting and infrastructure providers;
- email and customer-support providers;
- security, monitoring, and error-reporting services.

We do not sell personal data.

## 6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including legal, contractual, security, accounting, and licensing requirements.

## 7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

## 8. International Transfers

Some service providers used by Cerbeta may process information in countries other than the customer's country.

Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used for international transfers.
